Ancarani are small family winery producing an outstanding range of wines from mainly indigenous varieties in the hills of Faenza in Emilia Romagna. The range include Sangiovese, Albana, Burson, Centesimino and Famosa, most of these are little known outside of their local area.
Claudio Ancarani uses biodiversity and organic practices on the vineyards his grandfather purchased back in 1934, along with minimal intervention throughout the winemaking process.
